Ashton Eaton

Ashton Eaton is a 2-time Olympic gold medalist in the decathlon (London 2012, Rio 2016) and set the decathlon world records twice in that timeframe. He retired from the sport after Rio and moved to San Francisco where he joined a software startup to learn how companies and technologies are built. Inspired to help build the future, he left in 2019 to study mechanical engineering and, at the same time, joined Intel as a product engineer where he has worked for the last three years building computer vision and AI technology that uses motion analysis to advance human performance. Mr. Eaton is currently completing engineering studies back in Oregon where he lives with his wife and 2 kids.
