Presentation Options

Individuals who submit abstracts may be selected to present a poster during the research symposium on March 1 or to give a short talk during the all-hands sessions on March 2. We also welcome submissions for demos of a software tool, wearable, technology, or other interactive elements. A small set of poster and demo presenters will be invited to give lightning talks during the symposium plenary sessions. More details will be provided when we notify applicants in February.

We expect to accommodate all abstracts that are in scope (i.e., relevant to human performance research) for either a poster or demo on March 1 or a short talk on March 2. Note that space may be limited on March 1, so we may not be able to accommodate all submissions that request only March 1 as an option. The Leadership Council of the Alliance will determine presentation types. 

Who Can Submit

Researchers from the institutions in the Alliance at any career level are welcome to submit an abstract. Trainees will be eligible for awards.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Individuals interested in presenting at the meeting should submit a short abstract through this form. Abstracts must be 2000 characters or less, inclusive of spaces. This is approximately 250-300 words. Each potential presenter may submit a single abstract, but individuals may be co-authors on more than one abstract. The deadline for submission is 11:59 PM local time on January 20, 2023.
