Fireside chat with Dr. Kathryn Ackerman, Director of our Female Athlete Program

We are excited to introduce a new live event and video series: Fireside Chats with our Female Athlete Program. The program will be hosting regular virtual webinars via Zoom in order to provide insight into the program’s work, answer frequently asked questions, engage with the program’s community, and contribute to knowledge-sharing and networking. It will feature members of the Female Athlete Program and explore topics like fueling tips, professional journeys through medicine, how to create a Female Athlete Program, gaps in female sports and exercise science, and more!

The first Fireside Chat will take place on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 2 PM EST. The topic is: Getting to Know Kathryn Ackerman, MD, MPH, FACSM. Come join us to hear more about Dr. Ackerman’s journey through medicine, her creation of the Female Athlete Program, and her inspirations for her work. Bring any questions you have to our live Q&A! If you can’t attend live, we will be posting the recording later on the Female Athlete Program Youtube channel.
