Call for 2024 Alliance agility project applications

We are pleased to announce our call for agility project proposals. Agility projects are seed grants to fund early-stage projects to advance the mission of the Alliance. We are specifically striving to broaden our network of national and international partners beyond the initial six founding institutions.

We are seeking proposals that will expand our knowledge of the principles underlying human performance. Proposals for fundamental scientific exploration and translational work are welcome. We define human performance broadly, including both physical and cognitive performance. Projects that focus on disease would not be within scope.

Agility projects provide up to two years of funding for research teams. Proposals may request up to $100,000 per year.

Interested applicants must submit a letter of intent and then invited applicants will prepare a full proposal for review. Letters of intent are due on November 13, 2023.

Examples of previously supported projects: 2022 Awardees and 2023 Awardees.
