We recommend taking public transportation (i.e., free Stanford shuttle) or using a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft to Stanford University if possible, as parking can be expensive and somewhat inconvenient. Below are instructions for different ways to get to campus from the designated hotels, including detailed shuttle instructions and parking instructions if you choose to drive.

Parking is free on campus after 4 pm. There are multiple parking structures near the Arrillaga Family Sports Center.

We advise you to park at Maples Pavilion as it is the closest parking lot to the Home of Champions. You will need to allow 15-30 minutes to find parking and walk to the building.

ADA Accessible Parking: Please use the searchable campus map to locate the closest accessible parking near the venue. On the left-hand side, open up the “Parking & Transportation” section and check the box for “Disability Parking”. 

The Sheraton hotel is approximately one mile from the Arrillaga Family Sports Center (map). Because of the challenges of parking on campus, we recommend using a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft or taking the free Stanford Marguerite shuttle service to get to Arrillaga Family Sports (directions below).

To go to the Sports Center:

  • Begin at the Palo Alto Caltrain station (a two-minute walk from the Sheraton Hotel)
  • Get onto the Stanford Marguerite Y Line.
  • Get off at “Campus Dr @ Koret Plaza”.
  • Cross the street to the Arrillaga Family Sports Center. The Stanford Home of Champions is located in the Sports Center.

To return to the Sheraton:

  • Get onto the Stanford Marguerite X Line and get off at the Palo Alto Caltrain Station.

We advise attendees who are staying at the Stanford Guest House to Uber/Lyft to the venue. Taking public transit will take ~45 minutes (map). Because of the challenges of parking on campus, we recommend using a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft or taking the free Stanford Marguerite shuttle service to get to Arrillaga Family Sports (directions below).

To go to the Sports Center:

  • Take the SLAC Line.
  • Get off at “On Via Ortega @ Cypress Hall”, and then get on the Y Line.
  • Get off at “Campus Dr @ Koret Plaza”.
  • Cross the street to the Arrillaga Family Sports Center. The Stanford Home of Champions is located in the Sports Center.

To return to the Guest House:

  • Get onto the Stanford Marguerite X Line and transfer to the SLAC Line at “On Via Ortega @ Cypress Hall”.

March 2 | All-Hands Meeting, Shriram Center Tea Room

The meeting will be held in the Tea Room, located on the basement level of the Shriram Center.

Below are instructions for different ways to get to campus from the designated hotels, including detailed shuttle instructions and parking instructions if you choose to drive.

Visitor parking is available near the Shriram Center. The closest parking lots to the Shriram Center are the Via Ortega Garage (Zone 7202) and the Roble Field Garage (Zone 7210). View map 

To park on-campus, you will need to purchase a parking permit through ParkMobile on the day of the event. See instructions below.  Please allow 15-30 minutes to find parking and walk to the building.

  • Begin at the Palo Alto Caltrain station (a two-minute walk from the Sheraton Hotel). 
  • Get onto the Stanford Marguerite X Line. Get off at “On Via Ortega @ Cypress Hall”.
  • The Shriram Center is located about 1 block down Via Ortega (in the direction of LKSC, where the Symposium was held). It is on the side opposite the shuttle stop.
  • Once inside the building, go down to the basement level of the building. The Tea Room is connected to the outside patio. 

To return to the Sheraton: 

  • Take the Stanford Marguerite Y Line. The stop is on the opposite side of the X Line stop on On Via Ortega @ Cypress Hall.
  • Get off at the Palo Alto Caltrain Station.

  • Get onto the Stanford Marguerite SLAC Line.
  • Get off at “On Via Ortega @ Cypress Hall”. 
  • The Shriram Center is located about 1 block down Via Ortega (in the direction of LKSC, where the Symposium was held). It is on the side opposite the shuttle stop.
  • Once inside the building, go down to the basement level of the building. The Tea Room is connected to the outside patio. 

To return to the Guest House:
